Durwest collaborated with the Victoria Airport Authority, OMB Architects and the project team on an expansion to the existing lower holdroom, which accommodated additional boarding gates, food & retail areas, washrooms, additional seating and increased passenger circulation space. New covered walkways and landscaping were added on the exterior of the building. Phase 1 of construction completed in September 2019 and subsequent phases 2 & 3 in July/ August 2020.
