St Patrick’s Elementary School Seismic Upgrade

The St Patrick’s Elementary School project included the seismic upgrading of the existing 1958 gymnasium building and the three storey 1958 classroom building to meet current standards.  The project was under construction with minimal interruption to school programming. The seismic upgrades within the two existing buildings included strengthening of exterior concrete block walls, reinforcing concrete foundations, drag struts at roof and floor levels and steel rod cross bracing between building columns.
