The Advanced Microscopy Facility located in Bob Wright Centre at the University of Victoria, is a specially designed and constructed labratory to house the world’s highest resolution microscope – The Scanning Transmission Electron Holography Microscope (STEHM).  The very specific construction of the labratory in the basement of the Bob Wright Centre includes an independent floor and wall structure that is mechanically isolated from the rest of the building.  Adjacent to the labratory are two mechanical rooms that contain exclusive air handling units, vacuum pumps, water chillers and other equipment for precise control over the lab conditions. Project Value: $1,030,000. Victoria, B.C, 2008 – 2010. For more information on the STEHM visit:  http://stehm.uvic.ca/
