The Sherman Jen Building at Royal Roads University included 3,120 square meters of renovated space and 1,719 square meters of a new addition to the existing Mews building.  The major renovations, upgrades and an addition improves space functionality of the building and its energy efficiency, which aligned with the Government of Canada’s and Royal Roads’ climate change and sustainability goals while retaining its federally recognized heritage status.  The completed space becomes an innovative hub for undergraduate programs.   The new building is supported by three new science labs, 11 classrooms (approx. 350 seats), an outdoor classroom, and space for programming and academic support space for staff and faculty.
