Jeneece Place, built on the grounds of the Victoria General Hospital, was a project for the Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children and is a temporary home where families can stay together when one of their members needs medical services in Victoria. Jeneece Place was a project that fit all of the Durwest charitable criteria and one which we undertook the construction management for $1.00. Durwest turned to the local construction community to encourage participation in Jeneece Place and was met with great success as the cost were brought in $625,000 below the budget.
The project is a three storey wood frame building of approximately 10,000 square feet with a construction value of $2,200,000. Completed December 2011
