This was the 2nd project for Durwest for the construction of an office and warehouse marine response centre for the Western Canada Marine Response Corporation. The noncombustible building was constructed on a vacant site located in Beecher Bay. This last project marks the final milestone of WCMRC’s expansion program that began in 2013 to facilitate the ability to efficiently respond to spills up to 20,000 tonnes along the BC coastline. The site also includes parking for vehicles and yard storage and access for transport truck trailers. Victoria, BC, 2023-2024
