Dallas Promoted to Project Director
Dallas Miles has been promoted to Project Director at Durwest, recognizing his strong leadership, thoughtful approach to project delivery, and genuine commitment to supporting those around him.
Dallas consistently lives Durwest’s core values of Own It, Grow Together, and Build Relationships. He brings a steady, solutions-oriented mindset to complex projects and approaches challenges as opportunities to build trust. Whether working with teammates, owners, consultants, or trade partners, Dallas leads in a way that builds confidence and long-term relationships. He is a strong role model for the “Durwest way” and consistently elevates how teams collaborate and deliver work.
Since joining Durwest in 2016 as a Project Manager, Dallas has played an integral role in delivering a wide range of impactful projects, including the RRU John Horgan Campus, Victoria High School Seismic Upgrade, Nanaimo Airport Expansion, and the RRU Sherman Jen Building. His focus on cost control, schedule performance, and strong field relationships has allowed him to proactively manage risk and deliver successful outcomes from early planning through project closeout.
In his role as Project Director, Dallas will provide strategic oversight and operational guidance across Durwest’s construction projects. He will mentor Project Managers and Project Coordinators, support preconstruction planning, and help protect project performance, strengthening how work is delivered across teams. He is particularly focused on mentoring teams through successful project completions, deepening relationships with owners and trade partners, and exploring new building techniques and strategies that support continued innovation.
This promotion reflects both Dallas’s contributions to Durwest and the confidence placed in his leadership as he steps into this next role.
